Death penalty has already become a kind of milestone for history. Actually, the ways of death penalty also are a kind of art. In different countries, different cultures, even different level of people, there are a lot of different ways to carry out death penalty. Now a lot of people protest death penalty because they think that death penalty is also a kind of murder. In my opinion, death penalty cannot be replaced.
At first, we need to know the purpose of death penalty. Some people think that people are equal; every one has their power to live. I agree about that, but there is a condition: the country must be a small country. Because the government can make all the people under their control and have a lot of places to put people who commit crime.
But in China, death penalty cannot be protested. The basic problem is the big number of population. There are a lot of negative about population, so Chinese law must have a very strong authority. If death penalty be protested, the authority of Chinese law will fill down and there will have more and more people commit crime. Do not forget how many people in China, almost 1.4 billion people, 1.4 billion! Can you imagine that if one thousand people have one person to commit crime, how many people will be a criminal? Almost 1.4 million! If you put 1.4 million criminal to every country, that will be a calamity and they will destroy everything.
Some times people always say 1.4 billion people easily, but how many people think about this number seriously? 1.4 billion people means there will have millions of millions people have different mind about government, there will have thousand and thousand people out of control and then broke the law, there will have millions of millions people want to earn money without hard work. Chinese government has already done their best to keep this kind of peace. Every time when I heard some people said that China do not have freedom, I feel very sorry. What is the freedom? If the law in China do not have a strong authority anymore, if we save a little people’s life, that will affect a domino effect. An advisability government cannot save a little people’s life to “murder” thousand of thousand people’s life. This is the opinion about why we cannot cancel death penalty.
